Ed Granger’s first chapbook, Glasshouse, was a finalist in the Cape Cod Poetry Review Chapbook Contest. He grew up in a house with an extensive library of classic literature that fed a lifelong love affair with language. He was also raised to appreciate music and the visual arts, and earned a degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Subsequently, he worked as a sportswriter in the Boston area, winning several awards. For over two decades, he has lived in the Pennsylvania farm country where he grew up, and where he is now helping to raise a teenage daughter. In addition to the arts, his interests include history, a wide range of spiritual traditions, and the American philosophical tradition from Emerson through William James and John Dewey.

Quality is its own reward. If no one wants to read your excellent work, so be it. Those poems still have a purpose.
